电视动画《格莱普尼尔》改编自武田寸创作的同名漫画作品，于2019年3月6日宣布动画化的消息。电视动画由PINE JAM负责制作，于2020年4月5日首播，全13集。在中国大陆，该动画由bilibili独家正版发布。
故事讲述了一个拥有“变身成玩偶”的能力的少年加贺谷修一，遇到了一位神秘的少女红爱，她好像也被这股力量所吸引。在异变的影响下，修一的日常生活被打破。然而，还有其他像修一一样拥有变身能力的“怪物”向他们发动袭击。围绕着带来了巨大灾难的“硬币”，修一和红爱被卷入怪物之间的硬币抢夺战，两人联合起来，决定要摆脱这样的命运。
