聂离终结了一方恶霸银翼世家的统治，将段剑带回光辉。叶宗听闻妖主以及沈家叛变一事，与聂离商议拔除神圣世家这可毒瘤。风声走漏，黑暗公会提前引动兽潮，意图在风雪世家有所动作之前攻陷光辉之城，而这一阴谋却在聂离的排兵布阵下化为泡影。聂离设计的机关陷阱将大量妖兽阻杀于城墙之外，唯有一只具有灵智的风雪巨猿突破重围杀入城中。叶宗独自迎战巨猿，神圣世家家主沈鸿伺机出手打算置叶宗于死地。聂离使用传奇法术卷轴暗中相助，帮助叶宗战胜巨猿，免于被沈鸿暗算，还让叶宗顺利收获风雪巨猿的妖晶。兽潮被击退，神圣世家家主沈鸿图穷匕见，唆使叶宗养子叶寒刺杀叶宗。叶寒不满叶宗对聂离的器用，担心叶紫芸将来会与和聂离成婚，心爱之人和城主之位都将与自己失之交臂，决心投靠神圣世家与黑暗公会。叶寒深夜造访，暗算了毫无防备的叶宗。叶宗中毒性命垂危，所幸有聂离相救。误以为叶宗身死的沈鸿，决心在兽潮后的会议上诬陷聂离等人，借机铲除障碍并一举谋反。而聂离有沈冥和云华执事两位人证在手，神圣世家勾结外敌一事暴露，成为众矢之的。为保全沈鸿，黑暗公会两大护法现身，皆败于万魔妖灵大阵之下。护法龙煞看出聂离的“异于常人”之处，约定数月后再登门拜访，请聂离与妖主一见。为了与妖主正面对抗做足准备，聂离动身前往“天云高原”历练本领。
